Johnson Products has been involved in the sale of expansion joints since 1973 and has custom fabricated expansion joints since 1978. We supply to a diversity of companies for a wide range of applications including general construction, the automobile industry, the power industry, waste water treatment plants, cement plants, tobacco and food industries, etc.
Our designs have met 2300° F continuous operation with movements up to 5" axial compression and 4" of lateral movement. Johnson Products fabricates composite style expansion joints; inner layers are chosen for operation temperatures and outer covers are chosen for site conditions. All our expansion joints use a layer of Teflon© as a gas seal just below the outer cover.
